My Daughter "Houdini"

After tightening and making sure that the high chair table was securely fastened to the high chair I continue on my quest to clean the living room while Amy eats... then a crash.... the table thing falls to the ground and Amy is smiling, rice is all over the ground and there it is the bib right in the middle of the rice pile....I think she is finished! However my question is? how the hell does she get the table thing off? Half the time the adults can not get it off!

The day food became the most important thing in her life

My Daughter has done it... She has finally shown her Pontecorvo pride! Food is now more important than anything in her life. She loves to watch her dad cook and she especially loves to eat it.....the down side....taking the food away!!!!!

Solid Foods

Now that Amy is nine Months and I am not scared of her choking ( as much) I have decided to start feeding her people food! This was very scary to me just because I am so afraid of her choking, but with pressure from almost everyone I decided to start. So she is now eating people food. so here are afew pics of the immense mess she makes while feeding herself!

The Wonderful Holidays!!!!

Holidays...everyone loves them...hehehe!

So First off Halloween..we, for some crazy reason, wanted to spend Halloween with the family so we packed up and headed to Dave's sister Gina's house where we celebrated Halloween...Besides the absolute craziness it was fun and all went as well as it could have. THANKSGIVING... becasue we still remembered how crazy Halloween was we decided to say in Vegas for Thanksgiving. My mom, dad and brother Corey came up to celebrate and we bulldozed our backyard to make a pretty place , now it kind of looks like a park, but it is beautiful. On December 17 we had a snow day, we got six inches, which was pretty cool...but the Cajon pass was closed so I had to take Amy down to California on the 18th and on the 19th I drove back to Nevada. CHRISTMAS.. now Christmas was pretty fun. I picked Justin and Kristy up from the airport on December 22 and we just hung out at the house until Dave got off of work on the 24. Justin, Kristy and I loaded the car up and when Dave got home we were off to Cali. We spent Christmas eve with my family, Christmas morning with Dave's sister Jennifer and Christmas night with Daves family at Daves mom's house. On the Friday after Christmas we headed to the Shuey house and played there for a few hours and then headed back to Nevada. Daves parents followed us up to Vegas so they could visit their house, the rent a house in Vegas, we spent the weekend having fun. The next Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday were cool. We rented a trailer and packed it full of goodies and headed to Dumont Dunes for New Years. Amy did not join us on this trip she spent those days being spoiled rotten by my parents. We met the Shueys and some of their friends and now our new friends in Dumont. We had a blast. We ate good food and played on Quads. Good times! Now we are back to our normal routine...However I just looked at my calendar and these next few months are filled with weddings, baptisms and birthdays!

How the Pontecorvos got started!!!!

Since this is the first Blog maybe I will give a little background on us.... Dave and I met in October 2oo2, moved to Las Vegas in June 2004 and got married in November of 2004. We bought our first house in November 2004 and in December 2005 we experienced the most heartache that any one person can endure, we had a little stillborn baby named Allyson. Now some of you might be sad about that as am I but many things and opportunities have some from this..not that those take her place cause that could never happen! But some great things have come... one being Amy. Our precious little daughter born April 2, 2008. She is amazing and a little bit crazy but we love her so much and life is so great with her around. So here it is our life in a nutshell!
